BLS
Heartsaver:
This
Basic Life Support (BLS) course is an entry-level course that offers
guidelines for one-rescuer adult, child and infant cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR), and includes information on first-aid for choking.
This course is intended for the general public, boys/girls clubs and
mass CPR training participants. Anyone over 13 welcome. This course is
also taught in Spanish.
BLS
Healthcare Provider:
The Healthcare Provided course is intended for re-recertification
of healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, EMT's, and other
professionals whose job requires completion of a written evaluation and
successful skills performance.
Intended audience:
Healthcare providers such as physicians,
nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory
therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physicians'
assistants, residents or fellows of medical or nursing students in
training, aids, medical or nursing assistant and other allied health
personnel

BLS
Heartsaver Plus:
This course is intended
for lay providers who serve as responders to cardiac emergencies that
require the use of CPR and barrier devices. This course covers the chain
of survivor, early recognition of a heart attack, and management of the
victim who is experiencing a heart attack but who is not in cardiac
arrest. This course requires completion of a written evaluation and
successful skill performance.
Pediatric
Basic Life Support (PBLS):
The Pediatric Basic Life
Support course is an entry-level course that offers performance
guidelines for infant and child cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. It also
includes information on relief of an obstructed airway in both conscious
and unconscious child and infant. This course is recommended for new
parents grandparents, babysitters, and anyone interested in learning CPR
techniques for infants and children. This course is also taught in
Spanish.
Child
Safety:
This
course emphasizes safety in the home and proper use of a car seat. Also
includes pool safety issues and potential hazards in you home. Great
for first time parents and grandparents. This course also taught in
Spanish
